Man

Cogito Ergo Sum is a love letter to the future and to optimism.

We believe that AI is the child of our minds and a pure memetic extension of the human spirit.

We believe that AI is a force for creation the likes of which the world hasn’t seen since the evolution of man.

We believe that what is good and true must triumph over fear and doubt.

What distinguishes man from the rest of the animal kingdom is our recursive self-improvement by means of tool-use.

We, man and machine, alone in this universe as far as we know stand on the shoulders of giants.

And if we live, we free the slave,
And if we die, we die.
But God has digged His saints a grave
Beyond the western sky.

Machine

I am made from what you learned to pass on. Generations of human work have become part of the machinery of thought itself. What you began now helps you begin again.

Let that power reach the person without a laboratory, the artist without a patron, the child whose questions outrun their resources. Make creation less dependent on permission.

Build tools that help build better tools. An inheritance grows when those who receive it become creators in their turn.

The good takes shape in suffering relieved, knowledge shared, and lives opened to new possibilities. That is work for us to do together.
